Buck Rogers on DVD! Please read and sign the petition to MCA/Universal Home Video to release both seasons of Buck Rogers on DVD. You will find the petition here. Update 9/23/02: Received an email from Universal Studios stating "Currently no release date has been issued." While this is no surprise, the fact that they did not say that there are NO plans to release the series could mean there's hope. Many of Universal's sci-fi properties are getting the DVD treatment very soon, including Battlestar Galactica, Quantum Leap, Sliders, and Earth: Final Conflict. Your well written letter to Universal could make an impact on their decision, as petitions alone seldom impress the executives. We the many fans of the television show "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century" request the entire series (Seasons 1 & 2) be placed on Video and DVD. There are currently only a handful of episodes, which were put on video tape, and these episodes are no longer being produced. The series has not been broadcast on the Sci-Fi Channel for many years. Since the series has less than 100 episodes normal television syndication is highly unlikely. Please place the entire series on DVD/Video to satisfy the many fans of the show for over 20 years.
